Training at a National Goalie War Association-approved Area Camp teaches keepers the skills they need to excel at the art of goalkeeping. Not just for regular team soccer competition but also for the sport of Goalie Wars.
This is not afterthought training tacked on to field player drills. It’s state-of-the-art instruction in the skills every keeper has to have. Footwork and positioning. Diving techniques. Throwing and kicking distribution. Breakaways and restarts. Plus, tactics, conditioning drills and the fine points of the position you just can’t learn anywhere else. It’s all the tools necessary to take your game to the next level.
Your instructor is an experienced goalkeeper and goalkeeper training. He/She knows what its like to face a breakaway at full speed. Armed with on-field knowledge and NGWA’s nationally approved training materials, they will give you the confidence and skills to play your very best.
Each registration comes complete with a membership in the National Goalie War Association and an assortment of great gear to start the camp out right.* Plus, every camp ends with the ultimate in “keeper competition” --- a full scale Goalie War tournament for the campers!
