After reorganizing in 2006, the NGWA is back and with your continued
support, we're going to be bigger and better than ever! We've updated the
web site and made some changes that are going to fuel our continued growth
and success.
In today's busy world, we recognize that our members and there families
have many commitments and there is never enough time to do everything you
want to do. That's why we redesigned our tournament format and hosting
program to make it easier for our members to participate and host events.
For example, tournaments will no longer be all day events for all
participants. Tournaments will be scheduled in two hour blocks for all
age/gender groups. This new format will allow NGWA members to participate
in more Goalie War events and still have time to spend with family and
friends or participate in other activities.
We're also making it easier to host events. Both Individual and
Affiliate members are now eligible to host tournaments. We have waived the
application fee for 2007 and the only requirements to hosting an event are
field space, two goals and help with advertising. The NGWA will do all the
rest.
In order to jump start the NGWA back into gear, we need YOUR help. We
ask that you support the NGWA through participation in our events and
consider hosting a tournament of your own. We have great financial
incentives for hosting events plus your efforts will help us achieve our
mission...to support the development and promotion of soccer goalkeeping
through the sport of Goalie Wars.
Please continue to spread the news about the NGWA and upcoming events.
With your help, the NGWA can achieve its mission and you'll make Goalie
Wars a mainstream international sport.
